The nubuck and oiled leather uppers must never see wax polish — it clogs the surface and goes patchy. Use a suede or nubuck brush to lift the nap and a dedicated nubuck spray. We keep both on the care stand.

Are Woodland boots too heavy for daily wear?
They are heavier than a casual shoe, and that weight is what buys the durability. If you are mostly on smooth floors, a Red Chief or Lee Cooper casual will feel better underfoot.
Do Woodland shoes need breaking in?
Yes, more than most. The leather is stiff for the first week or two and then moulds to your foot. Length and width, though, will not change — get those right on day one.
Do you stock Woodland sandals?
