Care notes for Asics
Running shoes have a working life measured in distance, not looks. Once the midsole compresses, the cushioning is gone even though the upper still looks fine — that is usually when knees start complaining. Rotate two pairs if you run often; both last longer.

Are Asics worth it if I only walk?
If you walk long distances, yes — the cushioning and support are the same. For short daily walking, Skechers gives you comfort at a lower price.
How do I know if I need a stability shoe?
Look at the soles of your current shoes. If they are worn much more on the inside edge, a stability style will suit you. Bring the old pair in and we will look at them with you.
How often should running shoes be replaced?
Roughly every 600–800 km for regular runners, or when the midsole stops springing back. The upper usually outlasts the cushioning, which is why people keep them too long.
